Story
Bookshop assistant Aurora "Rory" Hawthorn thinks reality will never be as interesting as fiction. It turns out her dad was keeping a secret or two...most importantly, that he was a wizard and that Rory has a hidden magical family she's never met. Juggling a new family and job would be enough of a challenge without also having to deal with a murder mystery, cranky familiars, and the attention of the local reaper - even if he is the hottest guy in town.

wonderful story
this book 3 in the series. However, i have read book 1 but not 2. I look forward to getting this one too. I have enjoyed these books they are cute, funny. The characters are very likable. Poor Amelia, she is a kitchen witch but can't cook. Murder seems to follow her around. I recommend this book and the series if you love clean, fun and full of mystery books. I received the audio book free and i am giving a honest review. Look forward to more in this series.

Made even better by the narrator!
WARNING: Do not read as library copy or as a print copy if consuming a beverage! Will cause spewing.
Morgana's books make me want to do spoilers. Not really about the plot, but because of the situational humor. The publisher's blurb gives clues to plot, but cannot prepare you for the twists or appreciate the geat fun and laughter it causes. Poor Amelia always thought that she was hopeless at using a stove. Turns out that she is a hereditary kitchen witch. She came to learn this when her aunt died and left her the house, the business, and her friends. The business is a bakery, and the house has a mind of its own. This is the third murder in this series. Don't miss it! I dare you to go 2 or 3 pages without cackling!
Tiffany Dougherty gives a remarkable performance once again!

i like books but narrator would be better at children or teen books to narrate
Narrator stresses me, it’s a voice for children s books. A better narrator would sell a lot more books.👎🏿

Wonderful book and great narration
Morgana Best doesn't disappoint in this story and Tiffany Dougherty brings it marvelously to life. Once again Amelia and her friends have to figure out who the murderer is and why they did it. Of course her house helps out as well.
