This book was so emotional. Jude and Rhion’s relationship began a long time before they actually came together. The met in terribly tragic circumstances and still had both physical and mental scars from the horrors of their past. Their relationship was so heartfelt and felt to real as they worked through their issues together and then Rhion was betrayed by someone else that she trusted. An absolutely amazing book from beginning to end.

This was a fascinating story there is so much happening in the one story. It deals with so much guilt and deep seated regret. I loved the 2 characters and the ways that they are trying to cope with their past. This is certainly a book that will give you all the feels and then some.

I really enjoyed Singe. The redemption arc was heartfelt, and Rhion’s reclusive nature paired with her snarky wit made her a standout lead. Jude was the perfect broody, protective match, vulnerable beneath the tough exterior. Their slow burn romance had just the right amount of steam, and the touch of suspense added a nice edge. The found family vibe from the side characters tied it all together beautifully. A great blend of emotion, romance, and charm.
