A spine-tingling account of the man behind the World's End murders
On October 15 1977, Christine Eadie and Helen Scott left the World's End pub after a fun-filled night with two men in their arms. They had their whole lives ahead of them. They had nothing to fear and everything to look forward to.
Their naked bodies were discovered the following day. They were found six miles apart from each other. No attempt had been made to conceal their bodies, and both girls had been beaten, gagged, tied, raped and strangled.
The case attracted widespread media attention and despite the Police's best efforts, they were unable to identify a culprit. Within the next six months, the investigation was scaled down. The World's End killers were still at large. Free to continue terrorizing the streets of Scotland.
Thanks to the advances in DNA profiling, investigators were able to link the murders of Christine Eadie and Helen Scott to an Angus Sinclair, who was known to the Police.
Sinclair had pleaded guilty to culpable homicide of an eight-year-old girl when he was just 16 and was serving a life sentence for the murder of another 17-year-old girl. It is not known how many victims suffered at the hands of Sinclair. He is thought to have killed at least another four women but it could have been twice that amount.
Best-selling author Ryan Green assumes the role of Angus Sinclair and attempts to fill in the blanks on one of Scotland's most notorious serial killers. Sinclair is a shocking true story about lust, manipulation, dominance and extreme violence.

Terrifying
Another fascinating and terrifying book by Ryan Green! Steve White is the perfect narrator for Ryan's books, this one is no exception.
Sinclair is, to me, particularly unnerving, because of the casual way he harmed children as well as women. He didn't kill any kids (that we know of!!) but not the point! I'm Scottish, and I well remember him, growing up.
Definitely one to add to any TC collection, and, if you've never come across Ryan Green, why not start here!

Walking in a killer's footsteps.
I didn't know too much about this killer only what I'd watched when briefly mentioned on a Netflix show. I've always been interested in the subject matter of true crime. I snapped this audio book up. I found the audio book very interesting and easy to follow. With the the narrator doing a good job of taking us through the footsteps of the killer and his victim's. I would read another of the author's book's for sure.

A True Crime Masterpiece
This is a terrifying story that I didn't know much about until I heard this audiobook. It was very well narrated and described so that I felt the terror as I listened. I listened in one go because i was so hooked. I think the narrator should have had a Scottish accent, rather than American, since the incident took place in Scotland but otherwise I thought this audiobook was excellent and I highly recommend it if you're a true crime fan.

An okay read
Unfortunately this story did not grip me like the other stories that Ryan has written. The narration was superb as always.

The amazing brain of Ryan Green.
In a short story it's amazing how much the author Ryan Green has been able to compress so much of this beautifully perfection of a true story.
I'm amazed of the monsters roaming our streets !
Sure we all read or see the news which tell us that another one was caught but no news tell us the full story.
In a way it sometimes seems that the author actually takes the villain side but I believe that he is trying to explain how it could all have been avoided, that circumstances are to blame which is probably true.
Catching the problem while the subject is young enough before his brain stops growing and wires itself could have changed everything, the problem is knowing and reaching those unknown in time.
Beautifully written a real masterpiece!
Perfectly narrated !
Absolutely recommended.

A bit tacky
The story is interesting, but I do feel the dramatized rape was on the tasteless side. Besides that, the narrator was fabulous.

An informative insight into a twisted mind
This is the second book I have read/ listened to by Ryan Green and it's another well written and researched delve into the mind of a twisted individual. I recommend this book to anybody who likes the true crime genre as the author seems to just be able to get into the mind of serial killers and portray their motives to the listener. It is a shocking story of evil brutality and a quick but fact filled read. I was given this book by the author/narrator in return for an honest and unbiased review

Worst book ever!
Could have been a good audio book if it wasn’t narrated by a North American person. This book was about a Scottish serial killer supposedly from his point of view with obviously Scottish dialogue, being spoken by someone other than Scottish was torturous. Horrendous narration!
