Summary

When a former girlfriend shows up at his remote cottage with a disturbing story about the murder of a young woman 15 years ago, and her growing belief that the man convicted for it is innocent, former marine commando Art Marvik doesn't think much of it. But when Charlotte goes missing, everything changes.

Soon, Marvik finds himself suspected by the police of being involved in not only her abduction, and possible murder, but also the disappearance of a scientist involved in top-secret research. It's clear he's being framed - but by whom? And why? It's a race against time if Marvik, assisted by his friend, former marine Special Forces Communicator Shaun Strathen, is going to find Charlotte before it's too late....

Gripping 'page 'turnet'

A great story, complex but enjoyable and set in an area well known to me. An excellent start to a new character.

Sadly Boring

The synopsis sounded quite interesting, which is why I purchased this audiobook. But sadly there was very little difference between each successive chapter. The author just churned out the same mundane questions, which were never resolved until the final chapter, by which time I had lost the will to live! To other prospective listeners you must make your own judgements. But I doubt I will listen to any other books from this author again.
