Summary

Lost. Stolen. Forgotten…until the Alphabits step in.

Leaf Erikson didn’t mean to get caught up in STAHP’s craziness. If his brother River hadn’t joined them, Leaf never would have been caught in a flood and rescued by the Alphabits. He never would have scented his mate’s scent on the helicopter pilot. Never would have known his true mate was out there.

But he does know. And now, he will do anything to find him, no matter what it takes.

Cyrus Novak has his hands full fostering a teenage former thief going through puberty. The only thing that makes him feel less alone is knowing that half his team are dealing with the same issues. He loves having someone to care for again. Ever since he and his family stopped talking, he’s had to get used to being alone. But his team has helped fill that void until now. Mostly.

Just when Cy thinks he’s got things figured out, a sweet, intense little cat turns his world upside down - and unintentionally brings answers to both the Alphabits’ current case and Cyrus’ estrangement with his family.

The Alphabits aren’t vigilantes. These former soldiers and officers of the law have to do things by the book - even when it tears them apart to do so. But once all their ducks are in a row, the bad guys had better beware! You do not want this team of protective alphas on your tail.

This is the sixth book in the Alphabits series, and should be listened to in order for maximum enjoyment.

Please note: You can expect to find naughty, knotty scenes of steamy passion along with a lot of potty-mouth language and some violence. This book contains a couple with a unique size difference - the cutest little fluffball of a cat you’ve ever seen and a lactose intolerant bear who finally learns the magic that is Bean-o. HEA definitely included, intended for listeners 18 and above only. Seriously, would you expect anything less from Susi Hawke and Crista Crown?

Enter the Family

Wow! This penultimate book in the Alphabits series has to be one of my favourites yet. John Solo does an awesome job of bringing the guys to life, especially Cy! We get to meet Cy's family at long last and find out his BIG secret!! Leaf is too sweet and cute...adorable! The boys are an excellent addition to the new Novak clan. I'm looking forward to when River (Leaf's brother) will finally get with his mate (new series)! Highly recommended for all lovers of Shifter MPreg MM romance...a fun family drama!

4.5* of bear loving

Cy gets his man. Leaf got caught up in a past mission and smelt his mate on Pierce so heads out to find him. This is a very sweet story with lots of sweet and sappy, along with a whole load of knotty heat. Another enjoyable book to listen to from this fabulous series.

I've been waiting for this.....

So here at last is Cyrus' story.. Whilst in the middle of a rescue mission, Leaf smells his mate. Leaf is a cat shifter as he he is being airlifted to safety, he smells the heady scent of his mate. It seems to be coming from the pilot of the chopper that is taking him to safety. So being Leaf he wraps himself around said pilot in cat form. But he soon realised that the piot is not his mate. He spends a lot of time tracking down his mate. (Cyrus). He meets him in another emergency situation and soon he falls for Cyrus and falls pregnant. This is their love story. Within the space of months they become fathers to 3 teen boys and a baby girl. Read fabulously by John Solo, he is fast becoming a favourite. But you always know you're going to get a fab story when you see the names Susi Hawke and Crista Crown. Recommended!!

Maybe the Best One Yet! John Solo is Spectacular

Silenced is the sixth book in Susi Hawke and Crista Crown’s Alphabits series. Complete with John Solo’s spectacular performance this might be the best one yet! It’s been so much fun watching these sweet Alphas find their mates, and each of their stories have been adorable, but Cyrus and Leaf’s “meet cute” is truly creative. (Wouldn’t it be awesome if we could scent our mate and follow the trail the way Leaf does here? And then be guaranteed a happily-ever-after… *sigh*.) Just one more reason I love this series. John Solo’s performance grows more awe inspiring with every episode as the cast list grows and grows. Mr. Solo manages to find a unique voice for each and every one of them. His sexy-growly Alpha voices, his sweet and innocent beta voices, and all this kids! He does an amazing job with the audiobooks in the Alphabits series. an audiobook copy of Silenced, Alphabits #6 was provided to me for the purpose of my review

Purrrrr!

Cy’s mate, a cute cat named Leaf who found him after scenting him. They are so made for each other even with their size differences. Cyrus got his own family, very well deserved. Nate was already there but Leaf is so endearing they get along. Mr Solo does a great job with the narration.

Cy's story was even better than I anticipated!

5 Stars! I've been waiting for Cy's book ever since we met him in book 1 in the series and it definitely didn't disappoint! This book needs to be read/listened to in order to best appreciate this world Susi Hawke & Crista Crown have created. Cy was as amazing as always and I loved listening to his story. Leaf was the perfect mate for him, loving and supporting him as Cy reconnected with his family, which was both hilarious and scary at the same time, LOL. The scene when Cy's family and the Alphabits' team meet the first time is not one I'll forget anytime soon.  John Solo was great as always. I'm in awe at his talent, especially with so many different characters to keep up with!  The book was entertaining as all hell and tied up a few loose ends from the previous installments, so fans of the series won't want to miss out on this one. Now I can't wait for the next book, I want to know more about our elusive STAHP leader. ;)

Feel good shenanigans

This series, whether read or heard is such a delight. John Solo voices the characters beautifully. Cyrus has been a loved character throughout the series and it’s lovely to watch him get his mate, increase his family and reunite with his estranged blood family. We met Leaf briefly in a previous book, he is just the perfect match for Cyrus. This is an an unapologetic feel good yarn, with little angst and no danger. It does have all the snark, humour, love and sexy times a person could wish for.

An Enjoyable Listen

This is the sixth book in The Alphabits Series a spinoff of The Team ALPHA Series. Reading the other series first might be a good idea you don’t have to but there is reference to the other teams. And this series might be more enjoyable for having the read the other series. A wonderful book with good writing. The plot was entertaining, and it was steady throughout the book. A charming story with wonderful characters. The characters were developed and thought out. Cyrus an Alpha and Leaf an Omega are the MC’s of this book and they are mates. The narration was good it wasn't monotone and there were different voices. I can recommend this book as a good read/listen. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.

Bear and cat find love

Cyrus has been one of my favorite Alphabit from the first time he showed up on the page/in my ear. There is just something about Cy that makes you love him. Well, maybe not if he's eaten dairy :) Leaf had a very memorable introduction to the Alphabit world that still makes me laugh. His second introduction is just as memorable. There is just something about Leaf that makes you smile. As these two bond and bring Nate into their family, Cy's family appears and we find out something about Cyrus that I never suspected. This story is amazing and simply a joy.

Love It

I received an ARC of this audio for my honest review. This is an amazing series and I'm so glad there's another book I don't want this series to end. Susi and Crista are great writers and their books keep you interested from the moment you start reading/listening to them until the final word. You don't want to put it down. I'm glad that Cyrus has finally found his mate and it comes in the form of a tiny cat name Leaf.

A slower pace, but more family oriented

This is the story of the only member of the Alphabits team not to have been chosen intentionally, Cyrus. However, they gained a great asset in the bear shifter, and now he is raising a rescued teenager. Leaf is a Margay shifter, and boy is he feisty! While trying to watch out for his brother, River, who is mixed up with STAHP, he got caught up in the great catnip escapade in a previous book. While in the Helo, he catches a hint of his mate, but then goes home, where he has to suffer his mating heat alone. But he knows his mate is out there, and he will stop at nothing to find him. Eventually, they meet in an awkward situation at the most inopportune time due to the kids' antics. But the mate bond takes hold, and the stoic Cy, or Papa Bear, and the sassy Leaf, or Pretty Kitty, are perfect for each other. There is no real action or rescue in this story as with the others, but the family dynamics are what steal the show. Cyrus is reunited with the family he has avoided for years... for... reasons. Let's just say that the scene when the Alphabits team meets Cy's family for the first time is perfect. So we have the fun of Leaf's personality and the new bond, the relationship growing between the two with Nate, and a baby on the way. A surprise reunion was sweet and heartwarming. The story sets up possible sequels, as well as another possible spin-off series. All in all, a sweet listen. John Solo continues to do a fantastic job with the characters of this little world. Each character has a unique voice that helps develop their personality just that much more. * I received a free copy of this audiobook and I am leaving my honest review. *

That Russian accent!

I adore John Solo! He is by far one of the best I’ve heard. He definitely brought this book to life. And kudos to him from making the Russian accents come through. Cyrus was everything I always loved and tho got about, and that family secret was not what I expected. Leaf was hilariously funny and charming such a big heart in a little thing like him! Oh and kudos at not laughing at those teen embarrassing moments lol.

Very sweet story with good narration

This was one of the funnier books in the series and the narration really brought the characters to life. I enjoyed it very much. Leaf first scented his mate after being rescued from a flood. The only reason he was there was because he was trying to take care of his brother. As a member of STAPH, his brother was part of a group trying to rescue a bunch of shifter kids. Leaf worried that the group’s methods would get his brother in trouble. Leaf searched for his mate, he knew he’d find him eventually but he was getting discouraged. When he finally found him, he wound up naked in the mans car. Cyrus was very pleased to find his cat shifter mate. Their courtship was unusual at best. Pretty Kitty and Papa Bear were so cute. I’ve liked all the books in the Alphabits series. But these guys seemed to be larger than life. Centered around family, it’s a story of one families redemption, another’s reunion, and an overall feeling that family, (by blood or chosen) give these men something precious that can last for ever.
