Long lost royalty, an arranged marriage, werewolves, and a burning passion like no other. With high tensions, a dark past, and a coming war; Will you be able to handle the twists at every corner? The heartbreak that follows? Enter the world of the Dark Silence Pack. Silence Falls A New Alpha The Dark Silence Pack, one of the largest in the country, has one heir; Katie Knight. She was stunning, and everyone thought her life was perfect; little did they know she was a loner. Katie had no friends, and her father locked himself away after her mother's death. Suddenly, a neighboring pack reached out and proposed a merger of the two. Thus an arranged marriage of the pack heirs was set.

News traveled, reaching Katie's ears and shock took over. Her father had betrayed her wish for true love. Her life had been flipped upside down as her heart was broken by the one person that should protect her. As the date approached, she finally met him, her contracted husband. Sparks flew instantly. Was this true love at first sight, or could it be devilish lust? Will she be able to find out before family secrets threaten to destroy them all? Who will survive the coming danger?

Wow the ending to this book was amazing great set up for the next book in this series. I loved that we got the main characters opinions and side characters as well. The narration was top notch each character had a distinct voice which I enjoyed.

The story itself is interesting and a good example of a shifter universe.
I personally struggled with the narration, finding it hard to work out who was talking each time or whose POV it was so chose to read along while I listened, which helped.

Great story but struggled with narration

Pacing a little off, characters a little wrote but for a first PNR shifter book that includes world building, I applaud the author. Its better than a lot of shifter romances.
I'm ready for book 2
