About this listen

"Sometimes, not knowing where you're going will lead you to where you need to be."

Charli: My workplace eliminated my position the same month my relationship ended. With nothing keeping me in Richmond, Virginia, I get in my car and head northeast, unsure of where I'll end up. Until I walk into The Busy Bean Cafe.

With the Help Wanted sign and the quote on the wall meant for me, I know I've found my new home.

Gabe: I gave up my executive job in Boston to come home to help run my family's hardware store and to open my own handcrafted furniture business. I have specific plans for my life. Those plans don't include the coffee shop's new flighty barista even if she is cute as hell.

But when I become Charli's landlord, I find it harder than ever to stay away from her. And soon, I don't want to.

Contains mature themes.

This was uplifting and i enjoyed every second of it. It's a quick read without any real angst nor drama.
Charli needs a new start after she looses her job and her boyfriend ends their relationship. She goes on the road and happens to stumble into this cute cafe, they ate hiring and they know of a place for her to stay. He happens to be her grumpy landlord.
The story is cute, some of their dialogue is lots of fun and the conflict is resolved in a rather mature way.
100% reccomend. And it's included on both KU and audible + catalogue.
great narration too.

adorable grumpy/sunshine novella

It's an exercise in writing a novel. A very good one, but still only an exercise. A great, typically Hallmark-style romantic idea, lovely written, but rushed and way too short. Too many interesting venues unexplored. It could have been easily double the size. I expect the next edition, like a good dictionary, should be seriously expanded. However, Aiden Snow in his best reading form, as always. He makes the male character pop out of the pages, so to speak. I might start choosing books based on his reading alone.

A good start
