One of my favourite tropes - friends to lovers - but Nolan and Emerson are not just friends, no, they’re the bestest of friends, who of course are secretly crushing on each other. The inevitable happens, and yes they do ‘the deed’, and of course they love it. Alas it would be over and done with way too quickly if they didn’t both resist a repeat, so, herein start the fun times. Great banter between this wonderful group of friends. Another sexy, entertaining, fun read from the queen of romance herself, and of course I listened to the audio version, because, Jason Clarke (“inserts dreamy eyes”), and Julia Whelan, who together bring Nolan and Emerson to life. I loved it. And yes, we get additional epilogues and teasers, including the prequel to Lauren’s up and coming book, Hopeless Bromantic. Titled, Shameless Flirt, featuring Teddy Hamilton and Shane East as TJ and Jude, and including a full cast of my favourite narrators. Another audio I can’t wait to get my hands on, oh and yes, London baby.
