wonderful Yorkshire and the Dale's, detective stories, changing perceptions and nice people. so tired of lead characters with drink, marital, aggression, angst excess violence and superior officer issues. for all Harry's problem background he is in a way uncomplicated and the story doesn't get lost. reader is a bit too gruff and forceful but that doesn't spoil the enjoyment.

I love these books. The stories are great and the humour in them is just right. The relationships between the main characters is spot on. Also, you can tell the author has a true love of Yorkshire where the books are based, it shines through his writing which is perfect for me being from Yorkshire myself. On to the next book.

I started reading book one on 1st March , today I started book 5 👌 I am hooked 🤷‍♀️each book is better than last and they have all been a great read .
I intend to read whole series to date as I am living the characters, narration and storylines . Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
