Summary

It’s Christmas again at St Mary's and time for Max’s obligatory illegal jump. On this occasion, however, they’re right up against it.

A loaded gun has been left behind in Ancient Egypt, and it’s up to them to retrieve it before anyone accidentally blows their own head off, thus affecting the timeline for centuries to come.

And as if that’s not enough, someone (Max) has inadvertently poisoned Mr Markham. It’s hot, they’re running out of supplies, they can’t find the gun and it’s all going horribly wrong. Again.

good listen

What made the experience of listening to Ships and Stings and Wedding Rings the most enjoyable?

As always this is a good listen. The story is easy to follow

What did you like best about this story?

It is full of the people that are in the rest of the books and it is good to hear how they manage to get from one problem to the next and nearly alaways come out in one peice.

What does Zara Ramm bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

I have goy nearly all Jodi Taylor's St Marys books and it is good to have the same voice to listen to.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

As always this book made me laugh. There are some moments in the other books that bring a tear to my eye but not this time

Real human touch.

I have listened to the story and have thoroughly enjoyed every part of it. The narrative was splendid. I hoped that there would have been more follow BB ups. I will look out for more of the same narrators. Once again many thanks. Cheers.!!!!!!!!

Brilliant St. Mary's Xmas Escapade

Like the rest of the series, funny, easy to follow and full of the usual suspects.

Happy Christmas St Mary's style.

Once again JT & ZR have given us another bite of how the gang at St Mary's celebrate the festive season. Max, Markham and Peterson take Leon's pod to put things right in the past. Definitely a reread.

Just as enjoyable 3rd time around

I'm not sure what it is about this series of books, but unlike with any other, I've listened to them all repeatedly over the years and still not tired of them. The stories are brilliantly imaginative, the characters full bodied, and the narration couldn't be better.

St Mary's shenanagins continue

A great short tale to entertain the reader in Ancient Egypt. Mites and bites ensue as Max tries to right a wrong gone awry.

The usual Christmas shenanigans!

Another really good short book from Jodi Taylor. The three amigos never fail to have me in stitches.
