I love all Sherlock Holmes stories but for some reason, even though I played this at X1 the reader sounded slightly too fast to me and it spoilt my enjoyment. It has a slightly electronic feel about the voice. I love the Mark Gatiss introductions though. It's a shame he didn't read the stories!

The combination of Martin and Simon. But mostly the absolute masterpiece of storytelling skills of Simon Vance

Takes me back to my teens, curling up reading ACD instead of my set English text ( I mean, Mill on the Floss!). Beautifully narrated and the introductions make the experience so much more personal. Recommend highly.

Truly wonderful
