Summary
Could the sudden death of Sir Charles Baskerville have been caused by the gigantic ghostly hound which is said to have haunted his family for generations? Arch-rationalist Sherlock Holmes characteristically dismisses the theory as nonsense. Claiming to be immersed in another case, he sends Watson to Devon to protect the Baskerville heir and to observe the suspects at close hand.

Classic That never ages
Thought I’d give this one a bash!. I’ve listened to a few Sherlock Holmes stories, but this one keeps raising a flag, so downloaded it. I love the way it’s written, and that this one is totally Watson’s baby! Nice little change in genre from my usual read x

Quite enjoyable
I really quite enjoyed this. I love listening to Derek Jacobi, although there were times when I was a little annoyed with the narration. The story is quite dramatic in places and the writing of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle does all the drama for you so that I found the narration a little over the top. Other than that, it was good to listen to and I would recommend it.

JACOBI THE BEST
Derek Jacobi is a wonderful reader and as everyone knows the story is excellent. Have heard a lot of different narrations of this story but in my opinion Jacobi is the best. You won't be let down.
