I enjoyed this book about a tangle of people after a life changing event.
It was easy to listen to albeit a bit predictable.

A love story with a difference

After an extremely intense beginning, Roberts afterwards builds the tension incredibly slowly. I was always engaged and by the end, desperate to hear how the finale would evolve.
The narration was excellent, wonderful cadence; in particular the opening section was almost overwhelming, and had me sobbing my heart out.

I came across this book via the daily deal. I had never read any of Nora Roberts previously and so did not know what to expect, but it was good. The story bowls along with interesting twists. It was a mixture of thriller and romance which I have not encountered before. Well worth a listen.

Great story. Simple premise which becomes increasingly more complex as characters and their backstories are explored in more detail.

Convincing characters and setting, pact and I was gripped throughout.
