Summary

Sometimes the only way to heal... is to shatter.

Rock star Alec Daniels has it all. Love, fame, money.... But being in the limelight isn't all it's cracked up to be, and after one bad choice comes back to haunt him, he is left picking up the pieces of his carefully constructed life. Now he faces the toughest decision of his life: Deal with his mistake like a man, or dive back into the dark hole of depression, drugs, and denial that have been his comfort for so long.

One wrong move could destroy everything. His girlfriend, his family, and his future.

This is a New Adult Book - blood, violence, cursing, sexual references, and drug use. Not recommended for those under 17.

Good

Really enjoying the drama of AD2, Alec, Nat, Dec, Lessa and Jamie Jameson . There is some really funny laugh out loud moments and also some quite sad tear jerk moments really enjoying this series.

Loved it!

Just when I thought AD2 has it all together and we've found out all their secrets, right? Wrong! More secrets and this one could tear them apart! I really love this series!

Not a Fan...

Alec just don't get that you don't lie to your significant other. Nat was a victim of his deceit that reads like a bad Harlequin plot. I don't imagine I have been mad with a hero of a book as I was with Alec right now. The way the characters also punch each other all over the place was ridiculous. Isn't Jameyson's step mother too young to be around him all the time? Also much as this is a rockstar novel there is not much about the music industry in the book. This is just an average read for me. The plot was too jumpy and scanty for me. Too many innuendoes which makes this book tedious.

Still listening to shatter …

It’s a good story but I’m just over it. The first two were the same story different pov. I almost gave up then. So after all that, come on get on with the story. It is a good story line

Great follow-up story

This was a great follow up to Alec and Demetri's story. It filled in some of the missing pieces between both brothers and introduced new members into the story.

Great Read

Shatter (Seaside #3) was a great read by Rachel Van Dyken. Alec Daniels seems to have it all; money, fame, and love. But fame comes at a price. One of his past mistakes comes back to haunt him. He could choose to deal with it like a man, or dive back into the dark hole of depression. I really enjoyed this book and cant wait to read more by the author.

A little farfetched

but go with it. I felt like this was drawn out a little more than necessary but overall a good continuation to Nat and Alec's story. Narration is done well.

Great book!

Oh poor sweet Alec!! I was afraid this would happen, he has been the martyr this whole series but I so glad that Nat made him work for it and heal before she gave in. Great story got me just a bit more attached to these characters. Well done!
