Carsick Kincaid runs a shelter in his hometown but that was not the plan. He wanted more instead he has a criminal record and a lot of resentment. Shiloh West has it all she’s a supermodel living life hard so hard and dangerous she takes a friends life. Now faced with the consequences of her actions she is forced back to her home town to work at Carrick’s shelter. They have history and the resentment is at a high but there was love also. This story is about that second chance at life and love. I cried for,both characters and I shook my head at their stupid actions. Really enjoyed this book

I really loved Sarah Puckett and Gregory Salinas playing the roles for Cary and Shiloh in this book. they did such an amazing job. the angst in this just really hit it home for me and man, the ups and downs were hard!!! I loved seeing Shiloh become less "shallow" and real. The love was just awesone in this. This was a great listen though and honestly anything from Cora Kenborn is a win for me.

I absolutely LOVED this story! The characters are richly textured and painfully realistic. The writing and story-telling are tight and fast-paced, with top-notch narration by Sarah Puckett and Gregory Salinas.

What is unique about this story Shiloh, who is the rare female anti-hero of this romance. Shiloh is a world-famous model, living life in the fast-lane with no conscience and no consequences. One night of her horrible decisions causes a terrible tragedy. To make amends, she must return to her hometown of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Waiting there is Cary, a man she knew in high school, who also had his life upended taking the wrap for Shiloh at graduation. He’s bitter, hardened, and angry- not the sweet, nerdy boy in high school. And he wants revenge.

Cary and Shiloh have undeniable attraction- the question is whether they can evolve and grow to get past their heartbreak and disastrous choices. This story is one of redemption and hope. Truly a wonderful book to listen to and one I highly recommend.

This new-to-me authors might become one of my favorites!

Absolutely amazing Cora has done it again. Shiloh suits her nickname shallow until everything around her comes crashing down due to her drug and alcohol induced car wreck where she kills her best friend. She ends up serving her community service in her home town under the boy she destroyed when she left . Carsick or Cary as he now likes to be called has devised a plan to destroy Shiloh but the minute he sees her he knows he’s doomed . Cary GF Taryn has other ideas and she’s out to destroy Shiloh no matter what . I love love loved this book and the characters and storyline are fantastic , well except Taryn who’s a grade A b*tch .

Shallow is the emotional and heartfelt story between Shiloh and Cary. While Cary is lovable and deserving of so much better in life, Shiloh is the complete opposite. She is mean, shallow and only cares about herself. She will hurt anyone who gets in her way and think nothing of it. A tragic accident brings these two back together after seven years. It is the story of tragedy, revenge, forgiveness, love and everything in between. It is powerful and engaging. It shows how it is possible for someone to change and evolve and eventually become a better person. Gregory Salinas and Sarah Puckett both did an excellent job bringing this story to life.
