Summary

Absolutely loved it
Wow, what a book by Eva, loved this book and the Narrators.
Adored all the characters and story line but was gutted when it ended, cannot wait to read/listen to book 2. Will be recommending this to everyone .

Sorcha is a scorcher!
Eva has knocked it out of the park again! Sorcha is resourceful, independent and intelligent with an interesting back story but one of the things I love about this story happens right at the beginning - SHE saves THEM. The narrators were also and absolute delight and will be on the lookout for more of their work.
I don't really want to give away too many spoilers, which is hard given how much I want to gush about this story, so I'll stick with the categories for those who will want to know about them...

Well worth a listen
A story with a strong female lead and lots of action. Good male characters and lots of supernatural aspects to satisfy those who like these types of books. I look forward to hearing the next book.

Hot men or are they mere men!
Narration is perfect for this story.
Intriguing group up against an army. Hooked from the start and looking forward to hearing more in the books to come.

Interesting mystery
This book world builds well and it set up as a mystery to go with everything else! I still have some unchecked boxes of my own with this story so I can’t wait to listen to book 2!

Enjoyed it!
I enjoyed this story, I really like the world of creatures that the writer created and I enjoyed the characters a lot. Some great steamy scenes, which didn't take over the storyline. I felt there was a bit too much chasing clues over direct action but it was a good listen!

Highly recommend!
I really enjoyed this book. I was so engrossed that I listened to it in one sitting and was shocked when the credits rolled. The story is well balanced between action and character development.
Sorcha is a great female lead. I love her fierce nature, her empathy is believable and she's just what these shadowkind males need.
I will definitely be checking out the next book in this series.

Fabulous start to the series.
I received this book free for an honest review.
Sorcha thought it was just another normal job what she didn’t count on was the 3 monsters she saved following her home.
As she released them from the supernatural collector they want to repay her by protecting her , they tell her they were captured after trying to save their boss but the trial has gone cold.
Really enjoyed this and loved Sorcha’s snark and sass and her determination to help the ones she saved even though they are supernaturals.

Loved it!
I have just finished this book and I must admit, I really enjoyed it. The story was very unusual to other PNR and RH books I have read. There was a great storyline to this book, painting a much bigger picture that that of just the main characters. Sorsha is a brilliant character, strong, brave, feisty but also funny, I loved her singing her made up songs, they were hilarious and I could hear her singing them along to the music of the original songs lol. I read the book on ku but also listened to it on Audible and the narrators did a brilliant job. This is an amazing series and I have just downloaded the next book and can’t wait to start it. With the appearance of Omen, the dynamic within the group has changed and it will be very interesting to see what happens next.

Urban Fantasy Romance
Shadow Thief by Eva Chase is an urban fantasy romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Vanessa Moyen and Aiden Snow. This is the first book in the Flirting with Monsters series.
I love Eva's books! I was pulled in from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I am loving the chemistry between Sorsha, Ruse, Thorn, and Snap. I can't wait to see how their relationship will progress over the course of the series. I really enjoyed getting all of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
The book ended on a cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can't wait to jump into the next book in the series Twilight Crook.
Aiden and Vanessa did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this series if you're looking for an urban fantasy romances, why choose romances, or romantic suspense.
