I rarely feel compelled to write a review. I only got as far as the first couple of chapters of the second book. But I do I read a lot of shifter novels with adult content. This is poor for the genre. The book is badly written. The story concept is fine just not well executed. It has some narrative to link some sex scenes that you don’t really believe is more than just sex. These scene are also not very well written.
The narrators voice is too young for the content. She has a very annoying twang. Her narration as a male character inner voice is better than the female. It feels like it maybe her first audio narration as her reading doesn’t always flow and is really noticeable.

In this series there are six books all of which you can listen to as the series or individually. My favourite book in this was Mated which featured Marcin and Selena. It featured lots of twists and turns, lots of deceit but did eventually have a happy ever after. My least favourite was seduced which featured Kalin and Ax. The story was okay but it just kind of ended. No HEA that we know of and know idea if the Russian pack attacked.
As for the narrators I’m sorry I just don’t like Catlyn as a narrator for these types of books she seems to rush her words at times, mispronounces words and has no infliction of tone. I can never tell who is speaking at times, if she was able to change her tone for a male that would be great. She also has a very young voice. That being said I think she’s be a great narrator for younger books. This is just my opinion.
Ann who also narrated some of these books was brilliant. I always knew which character was speaking because she changed her tone from female to male as needed. She also speaks very clear.

Loved the continued stories. Mispronunciation of words, even character names, was a bit of distraction but definitely worth the listen.
