Wonderful!!
Shadow, the second book in the Galaxy Gladiators Alien Abduction Romance, is an enjoyable sci-fi romance. The storyline and the characters are fantastic. Petra and shadow are fabulous characters, they are engaging with distinct personality traits.
Petra wakes up, leaning that she has been abducted, tagged, and caged by aliens to be sold on the auction block to the highest bidder. To top it off, since childhood, she has suffered from PTSD, her coping mechanism is to isolate herself and avoiding intimacy. Shadow is an irritable cyborg, disliked by everyone, he is also a recently freed slave that desire companionship. I liked how the two meet, form a connection, and fall in love. The characters show capacity for growth; Shadow's building affection for Petra, makes him want to better version of himself.
Zachary Zaba did an excellent job with the narration. He portrayed the character's personalities and emotions very well. Overall, this was a very entertaining sci-fi romance with intriguing plot and characters. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
