Very enjoyable and light read. Ellen in her unique and irreplaceable humour will make you unexpectedly giggle at some point in one way or another. And because she's so good at reading her own material it doesn't feel 'read'.

This is the first time I read Ellen's books. I don't really watch Ellen on a regular basis because my life doesn't allow me the time. However, from time to time I watch an episode here and there. So I wans't expecting the book to be so .... seriously funny. I like looking for "the lesson" or value, if you will, in anything I read, watch or even listen (including music). Ellen is talking about serious issues and every day dilemmas of today's life but approaching them in a funny way that is almost imperceptible the seriousness of the discussion. She talks about respect and responsibility on today's society, the (over) use of technology, healthy eating and life style, and many more every day life subjects, all in a very truthful funny way. It's true that some chapters were just unique, like chapter 7 (extremely informative) or the very end of chapter 29 (something completely unexpected) and 33 where she shares something never told before (great for curious people).
I truly enjoyed the book and I recommend to anyone that want to have a good time listening to a book about life in a fun way. Seriously ... I'm NOT kidding!
