Summary

Please note: This audiobook is in Spanish.

Trail of Tears

I had no idea about the Cherokee journey and my children and grandchildren have Cherokee bloodlines...I am forever saddened by our forefather's treatment of the indigenous people of their country. How can we be forgiven in the eyes of the Great Spirit?

Sticks With You

It provides a lot of insight into the Cherokee Indian culture and the horrific campaign that would become known as the Trail of Tears. It's a journey I wish we all had the courage to take. I'm glad this book is finally available on Kindle. You will be, too.

Good book

I boughtthis audio trails of tears histories and listen to it again and again. What a tragedy and an American disgrace and both sides were guilty of gross crimes against humanity.

Very Interesting

A history everyone should know. The European diaspora who live in the USA are living on territory acquired through the destruction and forced removal (ethnic cleansing) of other human beings

very interesting

Excellent book on the complex origins of what became the Trail of Tears. History is never as black/white as we think and unfortunately often repeats itself.

Recommended

Most of the book is a good read, except some parts get down on the weeds and could have been edited out. This should be taught in schools, and if not, why not.
