LOST WEIGHT

I bought several Steven D. Moore, Jimmy Gundry books to listen while on vacation in Costa Rica. I have struggled with lack of self-discipline, which I also identify as lack of self-control as well. But going over this book while in a place with good, healthy foods constantly available, encouraged me to make healthy choices and exercise "self-discipline" that I definitely have - just didn't feel "empowered" enough. This encouraged me, I made very good choices throughout the vacation - and am happy to report that I came home from vacation having LOST WEIGHT!!! WOOHOO!!!!

Self Discipline!

As someone coming back to self-discipline after a long layoff from a serious injury, I felt a little down and definitely not motivated. This book is a quick, straightforward guide to reorienting yourself for maximum effectiveness in weights and life. I appreciated its logical pattern and how it usefully summarized a lot of the best content to come out of the motivational and cognitive-behavioral psychology disciplines. Well-explained, too; the author has a natural talent for breaking things down to the practical.

MUST READ IF YOU ARE INTUITIVE, HIGHLY SENSITIVE O

Self Discipline is the real deal. This is not your typical weight loss book! It's a simple guide to help us get our emotional energy "right." And once we get the inside together, the external weight falls away with effortless ease. I have followed Colette's intuitive coaching work for some time, and I think this is truly some of her best yet. I have been wanting to learn more about how to manage my emotions so I feel better, and Colette's book is my plan for the next 8-weeks!

Shifting

Colette has developed a new, entirely holistic way of approaching weight loss. This is an easy to use groundbreaking way of shifting your perception about yourself forever. Examining the emotional roots of weight gain, working with the latest scientific breakthroughs and approaching the topic in an easy and approachable manner has made this a great listen. I highly recommend the book. I have followed the program personally and have lost 20pounds in 2 months and kept it off thereafter.

This works for stubborn pounds!

I have battled with 5-10 stubborn pounds that just won't let go despite cleanses, detoxes, going vegetarian, etc! I jumped into this program with both feet! It's not about the weight for me. The most wonderful gift you can give yourself; min

This book has been an absolute blessing for me. Over the past six years, after having three children and discovering a plethora of food intolerance issues, I had been struggling relentlessly with my weight. Even when I was eating healthy and doing intense work outs at the gym four nights a week I was shocked to find I was still GAINING weight. I couldn't explain it. I had become so full of depression and anxiety and the weight issues just compounded it further. I'm 4'11'', with a tiny frame and had somehow managed to blow up to over 140 lbs despite numerous diets and exercises.

Self Discipline for Weight Loss.

The biggest question I asked myself when listening this book is "if I say I am willing to give anything to get back into great shape, why am I not giving it my all?" Am I really sacrificing everything I can to get there? Am I willing to? This book touched on some common motivation pitfalls and strategies that were helpful to learn about. It made me realize that sometimes we need to stop planning and analyzing and just start doing, even when things won't go perfectly all the time.

Hope!

Weight gain and loss is mostly mental. This book is intended to be an 8-week self study, giving you lifelong tools for coping with the triggers in your world that lead to the vicious cycle of mindless binging and the regret and self-loathing afterward.
She covers meditation and visualization (neither of which are 'New Age'), journaling (not 'New Age' and a recommended practice by many counselors), and therapeutic self-discovery.

Different than any other weight loss program. This

I have personaly gone through this program and lost 34 lbs and almost 3 pant sizes. Most importantly, I began to face my issues of co-dependence and body self image. Having tried the other programs that focus on food and the types of food, I found this different because it actually focused on me. If you are really srious about finding and loving you, I srongly urge you try this program. It is truly transformational

Truly a book that can CHANGE YOUR LIFE!

There are tons of diet books out there, but none can compare to this book. If you have been on diets on and off most of your life, seriously consider listening this book. It's a whole different approach to finding out WHY you may be having the yo-yo diet syndrome. There are a lot of reasons people gain weight, but how often have you heard that it may be "because you feel too much". This may sound too far out for some of you, but there is truth in that statement.

When You're Ready For a Fresh Perspective Tha

The first thing I love about this book is the title..it's easy to know who the book is listen for..I believe the title alone is going to bring great relief to many as people recognize themselves and immediately make the connection between their sensitive and empathic nature and what they've experienced around weight. The book offers something very different from the diet-and-exercise-mentality that leave so many stranded at a time when they most need support from longstanding weight related issues.

Amazing

I was a part of the Transformation project while Steven was finishing this book and all I have to say is Buy IT!! I am an empath and have struggled for 34 years with being overweight. I have tried everything you can imagine aside from surgery to lose weight and nothing worked. This simple to use 4-step, 8 week program WORKED and I have continued to use it and am still losing weight! It doesn't matter if you have a little to lose or a lot it works regardless. Do the one thing for yourself that will not only get you healthy but will literally change your life.

Great listen

This book helps to put it all into perspective. It gives you a ton of great information that you can put to use immediately. It tells you exactly what habits you need to form in order to start to lose weight and is short and to the point. If you're just starting out this book is for you or if you just need a refresher on healthy lifestyle changes anyone can make I recommend you check it out!

A lot of the ideas!

A lot of the ideas in this book appear elsewhere in the motivational, self-improvement world - but this book is an awesome summation of all the disparate advice in the world. I’ve listened to all of the author books and I always put them down feeling ready to tackle my goals and obstacles.

Timeless pieces of advice

Intermittent fasting together with the keto diet is the most proven diets in the world and this audio set gives you timeless pieces of advice for being able to keto-adapt and get used to intermittent fasting to a point where you don’t even think about fasting anymore. It’s subconscious.

A whole new relationship to food and eating

What a breakthrough! Working this program has given me a whole new perspective on what eating is all about. And it is not just another diet--although of course good nutrition is important and one main thrust is to cut out the toxic junk food--it is a relationship to eating, a mindfulness. The focus is on self-care and self awareness, and the weight loss is a side effect. The coaches, who have all worked the program and experienced it for themselves, are phenomenal! If you are ready to truly love yourself, stop beating yourself up for carrying extra weight around, and be your brightest and best, this is for you.
