Good content but I couldn’t stick with the narration

The content is good, and I will get the paper copy as a result. I couldn’t continue listening to the narration though. It sounds like each sentence has been recorded, cut, and stitched together so there is no flow. It’s like having Alexa/Siri read it to you and I found it difficult to engage with as it quickly became monotonous.

Learn How to Develop Grit

I have read a lot of self help books, blogs and articles that focus on "how to" develop good habits that stick. While most of what I have read provides a few nuggets or good ideas that I can use for myself or share with others who I help as part of my job, none have impressed me enough to adopt the whole system.

Struggling with overwhelm

This is an instance where it is worth the money to pay for a new copy of the latest edition. As Jane herself has evolved and grown in understanding (the whole point of Positive Discipline, for parents and children both), so has the book. The first part of the newest edition spends a good amount of time reflecting back on the beginning in a very helpful way!

Helpful and useful book.

A very motivating and inspirational read! This book provides a well written step by step guide on how to become more discipline in life to lead a successful life in everyday life, whether it relates to you work, career or even family life, being self disciplined is a very important trait that one must learn and this provides great tips and strategies on achieving it. I would highly recommend this book to others who want to gain a bit of control in their everyday lives!

Good guide.

​Self-Discipline is something I have always struggled with and is one of the most important parts of being successful. Thanks to this book I now realize what it takes to achieve and maintain self-discipline in my life. I definitely recommend this book!

Really Learn How to Develop Grit,

If you really want a chance at changing your life, this is the skill you must start with, self discipline. I have read hundreds of self help books and this is by far my favorite. No fluff book on attaining what is promised in the title. The author is one of those "gems" , a true author that knows how to write. Refreshing and effective.

A daily read Discipline!!

At first i believed this book would be tough to browse, however you do not have to be compelled to browse the full book to urge AN helpful thought. its very easy lesson. I perpetually extremely suggest this book and every one of his different books to anybody trying to boost themselves.

packed with useful and concise information

This book is great. It is an easy read and the exercises are simply making lists. Those who are saying this book is pointless and is just about positive thinking are totally wrong and not writing out the exercises. This book will kick your brain into gear and give you tools to achieve things from losing weight to changing your financial future

Extremely difficult to achieve!

Great inspiration for life long exercise!!

Really liked this book. Listed to it in combination with self disciplined dieter and daily discipline. Very inspiring. I've been using some of the techniques in each of these books and having some success!If you are disciplined & follow the suggestions/recommendations in this book, you will definitely achieve your short/long term goals.

Very intuitive!!

A very intelligent and honest book!!

Loved the book. Not for those who feel they have a inalienable right to not be offended by the inconvient truths in life. Better sack up before reading. Recommended reading for wusses, snowflakes and perpetual victims.My friend really likes reading books on philosophy. I gave this book to him for his birthday and he really enjoyed it.

Very useful book!!

The book was well written and very practical. You will find yourself putting the suggestions into action right away. Amazing and inspiring!!

Great book with great tips. When evaluated with an open mind you realise these tips can be applied to all that you do in life.It is the main subject of this book which is the main goal of building my own personal discipline. Perfect guide book!!

This book helped me realize the source of my successes and failures. I was depending on situational vs. committed daily self-discipline.the finish of every section contained a visual cue rundown of the ideas secured with a snappy outline of each.Read and know how to propelled for him self!!
