OK But Not Lifechanging

All self development books are useful and these books are OK but nothing particularly new or life changing. You will pick up some nuggets and they act as a good refreshers however. Narration I found very monotone and lacking in enthusiasm which detracted from the content and hence lowered my overall rating.

Self Discipline!

As someone coming back to self-discipline after a long layoff from a serious injury, I felt a little down and definitely not motivated. This book is a quick, straightforward guide to reorienting yourself for maximum effectiveness in weights and life. I appreciated its logical pattern and how it usefully summarized a lot of the best content to come out of the motivational and cognitive-behavioral psychology disciplines. Well-explained, too; the author has a natural talent for breaking things down to the practical.

Awesome Audio book

it's very motivational, and really helps put things in perspective. I really recommend this book if you need a good kick in the butt to get going. it approached from different angle and will read many many times over. brian tracy is awesome, his book called goals changed my life too.

Sounds like a robot.. so hard to listen to!

Kept finding myself tuning out. I had a really hard time listening because the voice is monotone and very irritating.

No Excuses!

Very motivating for me. Authors covers all the bases. I bought this audio-copy, but more often enjoy this book listening to it on Audible. There is even a road map to help you implement what you have learned. I like the book and will happily read (listen to) more by this author.

Get Ready To Be Inspired!

This Is Really One of His Best Books Ever. The recorded material that goes with the book is also very good, however sometimes I prefer reading the old fashioned way. You can stop and think about the information, as you listen at your own pace. I bought this book because I was having trouble getting motivated, and this material is powerful stuff. Highly Recommended.
