Seeing, Touch, and Smelling God by Raju Gomez felt honest. The author talked about how he struggled before and after a retreat that for all purposes changed his life. It might have been slow changes, but his recount of life wasn’t to push you one way or the other into his beliefs. He simply told his story and provided what he learned as time went on. As someone who is not religious in any way this audio book got me thinking about my own life and things that I have encountered; maybe a little reflection is in the future.

The author said, “The hand may already be reaching” this has really stuck with me in the sense that you may have already found what you are looking for but you need to take a moment to really focus on what you want, how you can help others and not necessarily on why isn’t life turning out how I thought. Love concurs all.

The narrator’s voice was very calm and soothing. I feel that the writing style and narration were a perfect match.
