India lives in a large, luxurious house with a mum she can't stand and a dad she adores, though he hasn't had much time for her recently. She seeks solace in her journal, which she keeps in sincere imitation of her heroine, Anne Frank.

Eleştirmen yorumları

"Wilson's skilful way with dialogue and plot makes this a moving, funny and uplifting story about friendship." (The Observer)

"Wilson captures the vulnerable, bolshy tone of young girls, and offers humour and honesty too." (The Independent on Sunday)

"Another brilliant book by Jacqueline Wilson." (Scribbler)

"Jacqueline Wilson is refreshingly committed to fulfilling children's expectations, and this is her enduring strength. Secrets captures a truth of childhood: that life is full of secrets, partly because so much is unknown and unexplained." (The Guardian)
