Summary

Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night…will keep a PsyCop from his duty. Because ghosts don’t take snow days.

Seasons: PsyCop Briefs, Volume 2 contains four novelettes and 14 short stories. This all-new novel-length collection begins right where book 12, Other Half, left off, with Vic and Jacob’s honeymoon. It then cycles through each season, highlighting various moments in the series with laughs, scares, tender domestic scenes, and of course, ghosts - then circles around to Other Half again.

Stories include:

  • Summer - Last Resort, Potato Potahto, To the Letter, The Perfect Storm, The Grass Is Always Greener
  • Fall - On the Ball, Treat Me Right, Sticker Shock, One Bad Apple
  • Winter - Roadside Resistance, Don’t Sweat It, Cold Case, Can’t Take It with You, Holiday Cheer
  • Spring - Dead Zone, Honey Do, Impostor Syndrome, Tie the Knot

Enjoyable Story

A well written story with and interesting  concept.  The characters are likeable and the narration is very good.

Excellent

Though I couldn't place each story in it's context in the series of books, I still enjoyed them and thought narration was as excellent as ever.

A little gem

When I read the ebook I thought yeah more insights into Vic and Jacob's everyday life. What's not to like.
Perfect for when you have limited time but want a short story that will amuse or intrigue you.
However, no surprise the audible book combination of Jordan Castillo Price's writing and Gomez Pugh makes the experience of hearing these stories even better. I will be making this a regular night time listen.

So Much Vic & Jacob

I loved these between-the-episodes glimpses of Vic & Jacob. JCP's craft & Gomez's portrayals are perfection. <3

Seasons by Jordan Castillo Price

The PsyCop series is one of my all time favorites. I have the entire series on Audio and most of the Kindle books.

As usual Gomez Pugh knocked it out of the park. He is definitely the perfect narrator for the PsyCop series.

I highly recommend the entire series.

Nice selection of shorts, revisit to past

Enjoyed this glimpse of the past, further understanding of previous characters. Recommend to anyone that enjoys more Vic, Jacob and the revisiting of other well loved supporting characters.

A Psycop Fan Must Have!

A few of these stories I had to listen to twice, because Gomez Pugh's performance is so wonderful. LOL, that Christmas caroling scene... I was laughing out loud.

For fans of Jordan Castillo Price's PsyCop series, Seasons is a must have.

Great story. Great narration.

I enjoy JCP's short story collections, and I always look forward to the next one. The reader gets a chance to see some little tidbits from the lives of many of the characters. These tidbits usually don't fit into the flow of a typical Psycop mystery for one reason or another, but they are delicious little treats. Like finding out you have one more candy bar in the bottom of the trick or treat bag. My favorite in this collection was Cold Case because I think it is an excellent reflection of the entire series in one bite size story.

Once again, the narration by Gomez Pugh was excellent. His narration enhances the subtle changes in Victor's personality as his character evolves throughout the series. This is particularly noticeable in the short story collections.
