Useful either as a refresher of the subject or a first-time introduction, covers the huge period from pre-historic times through to the present and as such, by necessity of brevity, some periods are glossed over. Performance let down by some repetition and occasional clumsy wording.

This History contains many interesting facts about Scotland's. Spoiled by the mispronunciation of some Scottish Sir names and towns.

This is an interesting look at the history of Scotland. From Ancient to modern times. It is fast moving as it crams thousands of years in to a very short few hours. Christian Neale's narration is pretty good although pronunciation at times leaves something to be desired but it doesn't detract from the enjoyment of listening. Recommended listen.
I was kindly given a copy of the book by the author/publisher and leave this honest review.
