"It's a fun story. The premise is unique."

It's annoying that Audible continues to struggle to have the whole series available. The book gets five starts. Audible gets one.

"A different twist but I like it."

This was much shorter over all and a bit slow, not anywhere near as substantial storyline.

    much prefer the previous book.

    "Very very interesting"

As far as Litrpg series go, its one of the best story's I've listened to. A lot of other series focus on big set piece moments that draw you in, most notably 'Awaken Online'. While fun and entertaining, and by no means bad, World Seed is intently focused on the personal growth of our boy John, who has no illusions about his own skill. Taking it to the "quote un-quote" real world was entirety unexpected, and surprisingly interesting. The reveal at the end was amazing, entirely unexpected, and in hindsite I see a fair bit of foreshadowing, even in the first book. Brovo, I hope the next book is just as interesting.

    "Boy oh boy.."

Most of the second installment of this series reads like an adaptation of a bad harem anime written by a 15 year old who is physically incapable of seeing female characters as anything other than objects of sexual interest. The rest of it being a mix between tiresome descriptions of game mechanics, training montages, and (thankfully) surprisingly well written subplot stories that appear out of nowhere and are better than anything else in the book. Throw in criminal overuses of the phrases "nodded my head slightly," "made my eye twitch," and "almost made me cough up blood," and you can really tell the author is actually trying to novelize a VR anime, but does so in a way that feels flat and, frankly, boring.

    "Incredible."

I won't spoil anything but the ending of this book makes the series. It sets up a great foundation for "future" books.

The only downfall is the narrator. While he does a good job of being clear and concise and Co vying correct emotions, his voices are terrible in the fact that they all sound the same and I cant tell who's talking until the end of the sentence / paragraph most of the time.

Other than that though, the actual story itself is what gains it 5 out of 5 stars for me.
