Publisher's Summary

A world full of adventures, ancient mysteries, and monsters hungering for your demise. A world where anyone can achieve their greatest dream and become who they wish - a successful trader, a wise anchorite, a brave warrior, or a battle mage who can control disastrous elemental powers. But don't expect that the path to your dream will be simple! The path to the top is long, if you can ever reach it.

    "Good story Bad English"
Would you consider the audio edition of The Way of the Clan to be better than the print version?

I imagine having a narrator could help with parsing the weird use of language but I've not read the print version so I couldn't say.

    Any additional comments?

English is clearly not the author's first language and the phrasing can be .. unusual and very Russian. Personally I quite like it as it lends it a folksy fairytale feel, but it might not be to everyone's liking.

"Book is great, the audible version very good too"

OK, so I have all the books for this series, so far so I know I liked the plot. Story is well paced and not to fantastical. i.e. plausible playability and plausible character bonus's.

The pace of reading is very well done and the style is easy on the ear. Heartily recommend buying the books and listening to this is very good.

    Get it.

    "Great litrpg story"

The audio version and retranslated version of this book is one the better litrpg books.
Eric Martin does a very good job of bring this story to life. I hope the other books in this series are retranslated for Eric Martin to read.
