Calypso, queen of the seas, is mad. Spitting mad. Ghosts of the dead are fouling her waters. She wants this problem fixed, and she wants it fixed now. Rushing off in search of Hades, lord of the underworld, to demand answers, she's soon shocked to discover him bound and standing trial before a jury of his peers - for nothing less than murder.
Calypso normally despises the beastly gods, all of them, but there's something about seeing Hades bound as he is that gives her an evilly clever idea. Tired of being a virgin queen, she wishes to shed that boring image once and for all, and no one seems quite as fit for the task as the gorgeous and brooding Hades. Of course, there is the minor problem of murder to deal with, but Calypso is bound and determined to have her way.
And when a dark queen gets an idea, nothing and no one can stand in her way....
This book is just horrible ;). Definitely not a clean romance just to warn y'all. These t9 are just so cute together.
I must say I purchased this book because the cover art was so pretty. I know thats such a girly thing to say. But it's true :-)
Jovee Winters has written a cute soft erotica novel based on the Olympic God's and Goddesses. This novel evolves around the potential relationship of Clypso, Goddess of the Sea, and the Lord of the Underworld, Haites.
With less than 6 hours of running this has to one of the shortest listens I've had. The story is light-hearted and has a few funny moments especially when the Sea Queen attempts to use human slang in her speech.
If you're looking for a Adult Bedtime story this will definitely give you what you need :-)
I loved the new look at the water Goddess and Hades. He is one of my favorite God's of the Pantheon!
I loved this. Steamy and powerful. Full of twists and turns and a main character you can love.
I enjoyed the story. the plot was great, just don't put on speaker unless you are by your self. =)
I really enjoyed the book, it had me smiling through out and laughing out loud quite a few times. Wasn't sure if I would like it and was hoping I didn't waste my money, I didn't!!! So super cute and fun. Worth ever cent!!! I wish the other books were on audible!!

Before we get started let me just say that I was given the audio version of this book for free, for an honest review. So let's start:
First off this was my first audio book ever. Didn't know what to expect. And I have also read the digital version of this book. And when you're reading a book to yourself you imagine what they sound like, in your head. Actually hearing a voice bring a story to life was a new concept. With that being said I was thrown off for the first couple of chapters because I didn't imagine Calypso sounding/having the voice that Arserio provided.
However, as I passed chapter 4, was when I realized that it was just me and my mindset and I really started to enjoy the sea queen once again. Arserio would change or alter her voice for the different characters and I could see/hear Calypso changing from a questionable tone to sassy don't mess with me tone. I found myself laughing and really enjoying the sea queen from a different perspective.
Was the sea queen a great book: Yes
Was the sea queen a great audio book: HECK YES
Would I recommend this book: DUH!!
Grab this book in audio or digital form because Jovee Winters is a wrting genius and will make you love dairy tales all over again ❤❤❤
What did you love best about The Sea Queen?
What I loved the most about The Sea Queen were the two personalities of the two main characters, Calypso & Hades. The interactions between the two went from serious, funny & down right sexy!
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Sea Queen?
I loved when Calypso would go and visit (in another form) her son & daughter in law.
Any additional comments?
I just wanted to add that I received this free from the author in return for an honest review. I did read the digital book version as well. It is an impossibly fantastic story. This audio copy was very good. The narrator reading the story did use appropriate intonations & delivered on changing her voice slightly when a character other than Calypso was talking as the story is told from her point of view.
