Summary

With the horrors of Chicago put down hard, Dick, aka Devil Dog, Jamie, Mel, Luis, and Courtney head west, where they are hoping to reunite with family. There's only a few problems along the way. Only a few.

Rabid cannibals, hunted by psychotic raiders, a town that's forcing a "tithe" on travelers, and a government gone wild, all before the main event.

If you like a good old fashioned "Good Guys vs. Bad Guys" fast action, and a post-apocalyptic thriller, you're going to love the Devil Dog Saga. Book two is a nonstop roller coaster ride of action, adventure and unintended consequences.

New story and original

I read a lot of these apocalypse-themed books. Every now and then I come across a book that goes in a different direction. This is one of those books. Instead of the typical Warlord tortures a group of survivors. This is a story of pain, adventure and a man overcoming his ghosts from war. In addition there are a few neat tips on one thing or another. Highly recommend this book. OohRah!

Love the series

I like the characters, just wish the books were longer. I drive for a living and 5-6 hours is only half my normal day.

Devil Dog Gets Sidetracked Comes out A Pit Bull

Story continues with the Devil Dog trying to get everyone home alive. Gets sidetracked after being captured by a group of just plain crazy government people. Not sure why this was here but I guess story line might reveal later. Or maybe it was a reference to his past that I just did"t catch. Either way it was a testament to his resolve. He is one strong-willed human being! Gets the woman and her daughter home and is now on his way.
Will get the next book - enjoying the journey.

Mike sims

This is Boyd's finest series and they are all great. Kevin's narration is his typically wonderful performance. It leaves you wanting more much more.
