Publisher's Summary

Terra , which Neil Gaiman said reminded him of Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett, and Roald Dahl, launched the novel-writing career of stand-up comedian and BBC Radio 4 Now Show regular Mitch Benn. Now Terra is a couple of years older and back on Earth. She's in hiding. And in Terra's World we find out why. But none of this is known to Billy Dolphin. He's just annoyed that since Terra returned to Earth, Science Fiction has died a death. How wrong could a teenage boy be?

Terra may be back on Earth but the powers of the universe are not finished with her. Her old home faces a terrible threat which possibly only Terra can overcome. Just what is the black planet? To find out first Terra must learn how to survive as there is an alien bounty hunter on her trail. And only Billy Dolphin to help her.

"When is the next one coming out?"

Terra's world expands to a brief but entertaining and intriguing time on Earth before heading back 'home'. This book brings in more US voices which Mitch performs absolutely brilliantly, every character jumps to life through their own distinct way of speaking. I am genuinely sad to have come to the end, I don't want to leave Terra's world or her friends.

    "Fun and clever story"
Would you consider the audio edition of Terra's World to be better than the print version?

I've not read the print version, but I really like that it's read by the author as you get the impression that he captures the real tone of the story and the characters.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Terra - she's a strong female character and it's fun to see her interact in the different worlds.

Which character – as performed by Mitch Benn – was your favourite?

Her geeky girl friend on Fnr - she's hilarious

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, but sadly I don't have the time. It's a real "page-turner" (or whatever the audiobook equivalent is….) so I was always keen to get to the next instalment (even volunteering to wash up….!!).

    "Great stuff!!!"

    Any additional comments?

An excellent sequel. Mitch narrates brilliantly especially the vowel-less words(which I must admit I had a problem with in the print edition. Love Billy Dolphin, reminds me of me at that age . Excellent.

"Cracking good story full of humour and heart"

It's a children's book but totally suitable for adults too - well, this adult. A funny and engaging SF story picking up from Terra and leaving everything open for the next installment. Mitch Benn's deep love of the genre is evident on every page (or whatever the audio equivalent is) and it's fun to pick up all the references but it really doesn't matter if you don't.

Mitch Benn narrates it perfectly. And we all know that Billy is teenage you, Mr Benn!
