Summary

When Timothy finally found work as a tester for a popular online MMORPG, his lifelong dream was fulfilled. And now, he earns money (and pretty good money, at that) just for doing what he loves - playing a beautiful and realistic computer game. But he isn't some typical run-of-the-mill player, like the millions of others. Timothy is truly capable and talented, and stands out from the crowd. In fact, the faceless masses consider him far too lucky and successful. Many players dislike him for his achievements and hunt him down ruthlessly just because they feel envious or because he looks different. So, what is he to do now that the whole world is against him and his only allies are his beloved sister and a few trusted friends? Make peace? Sink down to their level? Or just fly ever higher on the wings of success? It's all up to Timothy!

I need MORE!

This title surpassed the first and was one of my better listens in a long time. I really hope they carry on the series and continue to provide a fantastic story! I will very much look for other works by these authors.

The narration was great and I hope to hear many more stories voiced by this narrator.

Go Go Goblin

After completing Book 1, I had to purchase the other two books in Goblin Herbalist story. I have really enjoyed this series. If you read the first book, then go ahead and grab the rest of the series. I couldn't help myself and finished this book very quickly. I really enjoyed it.

hope there is a 3rd book

this is a great story. it balances time in game with time outside. you get more invested in the characters. I can see this going farther with Tim getting more involved with the corporation and moving up the ranks. people coming after him from inside and outside.

Better than book 1

While Book 1's story was good Book 2 is even better. Atamanov has done something I appreciate when it comes to LitRPG stories of this type. When the game happens in VR, I really appreciate when the author includes stuff that happens outside in the real world as well. This happened in book 1 but this book really took it even further and I was impressed in many ways. There were some things I feel were just kind of dumped on at the end, but that's fine. Performance wise this book is just as good as book 1. I'll be starting book 3!

An Excellent Continuation of the Saga

I enjoyed this book just as much as the first in the series. Our little goblin with the big ears continues his adventures, and there are some fascinating twists and turns in the plot. Its also builds on the back-story here in RL.

That being said, it felt to me as though the story was beginning to reach the natural limits of the concept by the end of the book. There are obviously mysteries that have been set up for the next book in the series, but to my mind the author was getting into more and more unrealistic scenarios to keep things going. I was completely ready for the story to end when it did.

Overall well worth the read, and it is once again excellently narrated.

Decent read. Enjoyable.

I enjoyed this book. The writing style is simple and direct. It's kind of refreshing. The narration was good. The author has very definite ideas of proper male and female propriety and all his protagonists adhere strictly to his preferences, which is too bad. The protagoniats had a lot of potential. Instead, his protagonists are shallow. The antagonists, on the other hand, have well developed stories and are interesting. It's strange to like all the bad guys more than any of the good guys. The book is technically Lit-rpg but the in game leveling has almost nothing to do with the main plot. The game is just background page filler. I liked this book and recommend it to anyone who appreciated the first in the series.

UGH! I Don't Wanna Wait!!!

Well, hopefully, my headline gives you an idea of what I thought of the book. My review of the first book in the Dark Herbalist series will tell you I had low expectations when I purchased it. The same day I finished the first book I purchased "Stay on the Wing" and devoured it. What a great series.

Atamanov does a very good job with character development and with bringing you right inside the story and Summerer brings these characters alive. After the first book, I was curious if Atamanov could keep the different characters interesting and he did a great job. There's characters you love, characters you love to hate, and characters you just aren't sure about.

Don't go into this without reading or listening to, "Video Game Plotline Tester" first, but then plan on getting through that book quickly as it sweeps you away.

Enjoy.
