Summary
In the aftermath of the zombie apocalypse, a lone survivor faces a grave new threat as even the undead begin to disappear, in this sequel to Mountain Man.
Ever since the end of civilization, Gus Berry has spent his days waking up, getting drunk, and preparing for the inevitable zombie attack on his mountain fortress. Occasionally, he must take his life in his hands and venture into the undead world below in search of supplies.
These days, Gus is accustomed to the mortal threats he encounters. He has steeled himself against the corpse-infested streets, human scavengers, and unending loneliness. But now something new and strange is happening: the zombies are disappearing.

Fantastic 2nd entry
The adventures of Gus are quickly becoming a favourite Zombie experience. Great story and action.Intetesting direction and as always amazing narration by the master, Mr RC Bray.

Just brilliant
Stumbled on Mountain Man by accident and now I'm utterly hooked. Brilliant writing and outstanding narration. This story reminds me of some dystopian future that we can't be entirely sure would never happen. I'm routing for Gus all the way.

Cheesey but good zombie apocalypse books
I enjoyed the omnibus forerunner more but still a
good series nonetheless, will endeavour to listen to them all now I'm around 30 hours combined listening in.

Really enjoyed the 2nd book,brilliant character in Gus and his adventures, once again Rc bray great narrator in this series of books.if you like zombie books and movies I'd definitely recommend these books,start with the Hospital and then book 1...
