Summary

With the dust still settling from the brutal attack on the Agathos court and Rogue's school, Bo Blackman is forced to live with her new-found status as a celebrity. She's still determined, however, to track down those responsible - and to solve the mystery of Tobias Renfrew, the daemon billionaire who disappeared over fifty years ago. Her investigations will lead her to places as far removed as a military base and the sinister Black Market. One thing is for sure - once Bo's done, nothing will ever be the same again.

This book is a jumbled, ill thought out mess

I’ve had this book in my library for a while but not got around to listening to it. I remember thinking the initial books in the series were decent enough, but this was dreadful.
- Heroine is unlikeable, she acts like a 15 year old girl with a superiority complex and very little actual skill.
- The plot is all over the place and not planned out at all. It just rambles along and the journey from start to end is lost.
- The romantic storyline, which isn’t much of a focus, is the most flat empty relationship in the world.
- I found myself frowning, scowling, eye rolling or yawning throughout the book.
I wish I could return it but I bought it too long ago!
