Summary

In the ongoing saga of the Zombie Rules series, Zach, his family and friends are lured from their home in Tennessee and relocate to a post-apocalyptic bunker known as Mount Weather, nestled in rural Virginia. They have been promised a better life by none other than the President himself.

Zach's apparent immunity to the zombie virus may hold the key to creating a vaccine and securing a future for the human race. Life at Mount Weather is indeed a significant improvement from their former life, but it is not without its dark side, and Zach finds himself having to make a difficult choice.

Keep them coming

I enjoyed the story. I thought the last book was the end of the series. I hope they keep on coming.

More excellent work

a great continuation of the story, enjoyable, considered and left me wanting more, the performance by Graham Halstead was solid and added to the experience, I have listened to a lot of books in the genre and this cannon remains one of my favorites.

Why does the series have to be so good?

One of my favourite series, each book is eagerly anticipated for ages and then read within days. And so the cycle continues as I settle down to wait for the next book. Long may this continue though, it may be hard to wait for the next book but the hardest thing will be the time when there isn’t another book to wait for

Maybe the best instalment yet!

If I am honest I was not sure about this series to start with. However it is excellent and there are still twists, turns and surprises to keep you on your toes.

Looking forward to the next one.

Disappointing.

Would you try another book written by David Achord or narrated by Graham Halstead?

Emm, depends on if those involved can breath life back in the story and narration.

Has Mount Weather put you off other books in this genre?

No, because I know there are many brilliant ones out there.

Who might you have cast as narrator instead of Graham Halstead?

Ray Porter or R C Bray.

What character would you cut from Mount Weather?

Savannah.

Any additional comments?

Sadly this was not as good as the previous four books, such a shame. I thoroughly enjoyed Zombie Rules 1, 2, 3 and 4, but this was book doesn't do the other previous books in the series justice. Boring and predictable, even the narrator couldn't breath life in to this book. Female characters came across as inferior and passive. Ufff, of this is the last in the series it's gone out with a puff of smoke. Perhaps the author has given up on this series?
