Summary

Seven years ago federal agent Samantha Moon was the perfect wife and mother, your typical soccer mom with the minivan and suburban home. Then the unthinkable happens, an attack that changes her life forever. And forever is a very long time for a vampire.

Now in Moon River, private investigator Samantha Moon is asked to look into a string of bizarre murders, murders that are looking more and more like the handiwork of a bloodthirsty vampire. But when her sister, Mary Lou, goes missing, Samantha, Allison, and Kingsley take the fight underground...into the dark heart of a vampire's lair.

Yay!

I LOVE this series. I've already read the kindle edition, but it just not complete until the audio version comes out being read by one of my favorite narrators Dina Pearlman.

I want to say this one is THE best story in the series yet, but their have been some really great moments. All I CAN say is that the events that happen in this story are shocking and have been a long time in the making. Samantha has unfinished business with a certain someone and the results are shocking. Allison is coming into her own with her powers. Samantha's relationship with Russell is not what it seems. The entity within Samantha is getting "restless". It's been weeks since I've read it and I'm still reeling. What are you waiting for?, get started! I'm about to.

Another good story

This series is very good. The character Samantha Moon is realistic as someone struggling to be to different people or beings. Samantha is becoming less human as the books continue. But in trying to hold on to her humanity, she is a better vampire. This book brings further character development to Samantha and the other main characters. It also implies that it is building up to a big finally. I only wish J R Rain would write longer books so we can get to the big finnish. Stringing me on like this is cruel.

Moon

Love the wit and coarseness of this series. The narrator does an awesome job on Sam's character.
