Summary

In this third volume of the "Golden Queen" series, Maggie becomes queen of the Dronon invaders when her husband, Lord Protector Gallen, defeats the champion of the old queen.

Pregnant and besieged, the pair flee to the planet Ruin, where they hope Maggie can bear her child in peace. Unfortunately, the planet is ruled by Lord Felph, a megalomaniac who forces the couple to help him conquer the planet's dangerous jungles.

the editor should be fired

I think that the author, or editor, forgot to read the first two books written in the series before writing, or editing, this book. there are massive holes and contradictions, especially when taken with the epilogue of the second book. I was rather disappointed in the conclusion of this book. the author even left massive holes in the conclusion; many important things were left unfinished, with no hint for any kind of continuation.

The Lesser of the Three Books

This book fell short of my expectations based on the previous two books in this series. What turned the story into what I classify as a "bad book" was the proselytizing bear. A little more action and a little less preaching would have improved the story.

Don't Bother

Should have spent my credits on something else! I would have been better off! It took longer to write this review than to realize that these books were duds!
