Summary

The barrier has fallen. The king is gone. Tan has secured the artifact, but now the Fortress of Fire in Incendin burns more brightly than it has in a generation. To master his connection to the elementals, Tan needs to rediscover knowledge about the elemental power that has been lost for centuries. When the draasin bonded to him is injured, Tan must rely on everything he's learned to save him and discovers a new threat to the kingdoms more powerful than anything he's ever faced.

AUTHOR REPEATS HIMSELF TOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Would you try another book from D. K. Holmberg and/or Nicholas Techosky?

Yes

Has Fortress of Fire turned you off from other books in this genre?

No

How could the performance have been better?

The performance was just fine. Repeating the same stuff over and over and over and over and over and over was just a pain in the behind to listen to.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Anger and frustration. How many times do I have to be told that Tanin bonded to earth first. That he could sense fire easily. THat he and Amiah are bonded because she shaped him. Over and over and over and over. UGH!

Any additional comments?

I know it's too late, but dude, stop the annoying repetitiveness. Seriously ruins a great story.
