Summary

In 2010, one of the most grisly discoveries in Texas history was made. Numerous body parts and human remains were found on an abandoned farm near San Antonio. Very little information was made public, until now.

Eddie Mason is a family man. But his is not your typical family. With a wife at home who belittles and ridicules him at every turn, he has sought other means of satisfaction.

He teaches his teenage daughter, Brandi, and small son, Jeffrey, the most horrifying of rituals. Using his kids as bait, Eddie captures his victims and takes his children on a journey of torture, cannibalism, and mayhem. Learn what the Masons do on Family Night.

Review
Title: Family Night Audible Edition
Author: Tom Miller

Tim Miller has created one hell of a horrifically twisted story line. It really surprised me. Fast paced, action packed and undeniably psychologically thrilling. I Loved it!

The narrator was enjoyable for the most part, however, she did stumble a few times. Her voice is engaging and kept me on the edge of my seat.

I don't use spoilers in my reviews, they can really spoil a story for others. I will say this much, it is not for the faint of heart.

Recomended for the 18+ Horror fan bout there. The story line is fantastic.

performance was embarrassing

The book was actually pretty good-I found it good and creepy but felt like a damn second grader was trying to read to me! Will NOT be listening to any more books by this narrator! so annoying!

Disturbing!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I only have one friend that I would recommend this book to. The rest of my friends are way too sensitive to ever read anything this twisted!

What other book might you compare Family Night to and why?

The ONLY comparison I could make is to another Tim Miller book. There just isn't another book that I've ever read that is as psychopathically deranged as this! I might compare it (in sheer twisted vulgarity, anyway) to The Human Centipede, which is a horrific movie on Netflix.

What does Molly Barrel bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She brings the book alive, makes it more real (shudders!). Her voice will probably feature in my nightmares for years!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, and no. Its relatively short length encourages you to want to just finish it, but I had to take several "shock" breaks. My brain would scream "PAUSE!" and I'd have to go find a puppy to snuggle. Eep!

Any additional comments?

This book was written by an extremely talented author, with a really scary imagination. It's not for everybody. The title of my review (disturbing) is a major understatement... Is there a word for how twisted and messed up this family is?
