Summary

A Review from the Autistic Nerd
This hands down is one of the best audio adaptations. This was the very first Dalek story I watched and one the first novels I brought. Once again Terry Molly delivers a wonderful performance. Even if you're not a big Sylvester McCoy fan but you love Daleks and audio books in general this is right up your street.

Remembrance Of A Classic
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would heartily recommend this audiobook to any fan of Doctor Who. - Classic or New - and I plan to gift it to a friend of mine soon. The book is a classic in its own right as it seems to add extra detail such as back stories for the ICMG. I also love the way that the author treats you with respect throughout and makes the Daleks terrifying.
What did you like best about this story?
Apart from the aforementioned respect of the author, my favourite part of the audiobook was how it managed to make a story I have enjoyed multiple times in different formats, feel fresh and new again. You really start to like even the most obscure of the named characters which is very rare in novelisations.
Which character – as performed by Terry Molloy – was your favourite?
Of all the characters I feel his narration most suited either The Doctor himself - even with his sometimes funny attempts to match McCoy's Scottish accent! - or Group Captain Gilmore. His narration is perfect for matching the Doctor's Machiavellian scheme both in triumph and frustrated desperation as well as the military crispness of the Group Captain.
Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I honestly don't know how to answer this question. It made me laugh and whoop with triumph. It made me somber in its moments of pathos. But I recommend buy it and find out for yourself!

One to remember
This was the first book I ever read by choice based on my favourite Doctor Who TV serial. Just as good as I remembered it and love all the extra bits not in the TV show. Now, curse of fenric I think...

Terry Molloy brings dalek story to life
Would you consider the audio edition of Doctor Who: Remembrance of the Daleks to be better than the print version?
Yes, as Terry Molly brings the story to life and does great impressions of some of the characters. It was especially chilling to hear him do Davros again after so many years

He brings life to all the characters, brings a chilling performance as Davros and the way he reads it draws you into the story

Loved it.
