Summary

Slow burner
Took a few chapters but I'm glad I perseveres as then I couldn't stop listening. Very enjoyable can't wait to start book two

The story is good enough to keep listening but it's a bit difficult to differentiate between the characters with this narrator.

Fantastic story with 3 dimensional & varied char..
Fantastic story with 3 dimensional & varied characters. I love that there are several layers to the characters. There was plenty of mystery for the readers/listeners to sink their teeth in. No stupid and out of character decisions just to move the story forward. We get the clues and answers along with the MCs so we can come up with our own theories.
I loved Cam. She is strong and adaptable. She took help when needed, understood her weaknesses and stood strong when it mattered, without taking stupid actions.
Narration was fantastic too.
I have other books in the series and can hardly wait to listen to them.

A pause, a change of voice ...
Anything really to distinguish speech, character, background info. The story has a lot of promise, the monotone narration has spoilt it for me. 4.5 chapters in and I'm moving on to something else.

Dead in the Water
This is a different supernatural series to the one's I've listen to before, with unique says of viewing this world and making it work. The story skips along nicely, leaving you with many questions yet to be answered. Read with great feeling by Stephanie Einstein.

Brilliant
Just listened to all six of these books and enjoyed each one brilliant storyline and character who are all different mystical, magic and wolf. Hailey Edwards is a new author to me whom I will now be following, the narrator Stephanie Einstein is also new to me she spun her magical voice in to these books bringing each character and story to life.
