Excellent Collection of Timeless Southen Horror

Ronald Kelly is one of the most distinctive voices in modern horror fiction. His books are full of southern atmosphere and charm and his characters feel authentic and interesting. This is a brilliant collection of creepy timeless horror tales.
Coleman Ford does a wonderful job with the narration. It was a pleasure to listen to.
Another superb presentation from Crossroad Press.
Highly recommended.

The best horror shorts in the business!

I am a massive fan of Kelly's work and his short horror stories are nothing short of terrifying brilliance. This book, among much of his work, is told by a sinister mastermind with the ability shock and awe even veteran horror enthusiasts.

What's wrong, mister?

A collection of eight creepy, old fashioned style horror stories, well read by Coleman Ford, the touch of subdued sinister in his voice growing even more dreadful in one of the stories, the Cistern. His southern accent was a pleasure to hear, his enunciation perfect and his timing aimed at raising the reader's blood pressure. An excellent performance of an enjoyable set of disparate stories. My personal favourite was the first, Yeah, though I drive.
If you are a reader who likes that little tingle touch, enjoy.
