Publisher's Summary

Nearly two years after the fall, the survivors strive to make new lives for themselves in the Primal wasteland. With no government institutions and over 80 percent of the population gone, it is a cold and harsh new world.

To the north, a new evil rises; one that threatens the survival of them all. A man intent on cleansing the earth of not only the Primal virus, but also anything else that stands between him and his goals of a new dictatorship.

With the threat of death and the destruction of their new way of life, Brad Thompson and his band of brothers are drawn to take up arms against an enemy far greater than the Primals. In a world without law, a land where survivors are victimized, their small group of men stand between freedom and annihilation.

"Ok story good drama in parts.Book did not END on high note."

Book started slow. Hard to figure out what is going on. Story was ok. Could have been better developed if more story was written.

I really liked this book.It is a really involved story of life in a hostile America after an EMP hits. Now I wish I'd have started with the first book!I kept thinking I missed something!lol Andrew B. Wehrlen does a nice job narrating, though some characters talk really fast.“I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.”

    "speed reading..."

I just didn't like this one, IDK if it was the new narrator who was speed reading the whole book or the story itself. I kept finding myself rewinding over and over because he was reading so fast and his words sounded completely jumbled. I actually thought I had accidentally sped up the rate of which the book was playing, however after checking several times to make sure that wasn't the case I realize that it was just the way that the gentleman was reading the book. It felt very clumsy it also felt extremely rushed

Evidently I've been missing out on a really good series. Even though this is the 7th book in the series it is the first I have listened to.

It took me a chapter or two to get familiar with the story and characters but after that I was hooked. It had my complete attention from start to finish. It's an entertaining story full of action and on the edge of your seat suspense. I enjoyed the story enough to want to go back and listen to the series from the beginning.

As if trying to survive Primal's (zombies) isn't enough in an apocalyptic world you also have to fight to protect what is left of your world from those who would try to take everything from you. Your basic right's, your freedom, your life and everything you love.

Interesting little twist to the zombie's. Some of them have "evolved" they are "intelligent/thinking" alpha zombie's.

Andrew Wehrlen once again does a fantastic job with the narration. He has one of those voices that is perfect for narrating books. Clearly spoken with a nice even pace. Great character voices. His voice just pulls you into a story and brings it to life. Always a pleasure listening to a book he is narrating.

I got this book not realizing it's part of a series. Really have to go back and read up first. Loved the book, the story and characters are all well done. Just need to start at the beginning lol.

Love Andrew Wehrlen. He's a brilliant narrator.

"Zombie apocalypse, with intelligent alpha zombies!"

Couple of years post zombie outbreak. The world is in ruin. The USA has been broken into factions, where peaceful trade between existed now it's time for war. These aren't your run of the mill zombies either (though those are present too) this has alpha level zombies, they think they coordinate they hunt in packs they use the other zombies as cannon fodder. Get ready for a zombie apocalypse org a real bite to it. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.

    Story
"A welcome addition to the WTF series"
If you could sum up Bound by Honor in three words, what would they be?

    Survival, Zombies and relationships

Who was your favorite character and why?

Brad is the main character , so everything by and large is through his eyes. He is an ex Military fellow that is not a Rambo type. After listening and thinking about this is a guy that just wants to be left alone and live his life peacefully . However, his world is anything but peaceful. Surviving a day and not to mention a night is a challenge

Have you listened to any of Andrew B. Wehrlen’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes. He is excellent in anunciation and male speech patterns. Sometimes I had trouble with his speaking a female character as the tonality is too similar. He is better in this book then the other I listened too

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It was enjoyable and exciting. Action centric with good character development

    Any additional comments?

I was given this book to review and the opinions are honest and what I thought of the book after conclusion

    "Interesting, easy to follow"

I love a book that I don't have to buy the entire series to listen. I really enjoyed that j could pick up the story and understand. The plot and action was very good as well detailed.

I would recommend this book and will be purchasing the previous books. Merely out of curiosity than anything. The narrator was just as good as the story. He made you think between pauses what was going to happen next.

I was sent this book by the author for an honest review. Thank you.

    Story
"Once again Brad & crew are called to battle."

The Primals have changed over the past two years. Now they were like wolves or lions, fierce pack hunters. They were smarter than humans first imagined. They were now part of the food chain, apex predators who hunted the same game humans hunted. Brad decided that this time he would finally journey to find his family, or what could be found of them. A new threat appears from a man that envisions taking over the country and heading his own form of government. Looks like Brad’s desires will be put on the back burner once again. Brad, Sean and the rest of the gang once again head into battle; this time into a place called Crabtree. Women and children are captured and put onto trains to head north to the raider’s encampments. It’s up to Brad & crew to stop the raiders and get their people back. This audiobook was given by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Boom.
