This is NOT Bill the Galactic Hero.

Not what it claims to be. How can audible have every sequel, but not the original?
Very annoying.
Cannot comment on the performance etc, since 10 seconds in it is clear that it is not the correct story

NOT BOOK !.

As someone else has said - this is NOT book 1. this is one of the sequels. I wish I'd seen the previous reviews before using this book.
it doesn't appear that Audible actually has the original book, which is ridiculous.

I couldn't finish it.

I love Military Sci Fi. Starship Troopers, the forever war series, old mans war, the lost fleet etc... amazing.

This is none of those things, made worse by having a credible top shelf narrator. It might have worked if you had someone like wil wheaton with his irreverant approach to reading.

ALso, this is the second book in the series and I couldn't find the first anywhere. They try to recap but it is a lot to take on.

I couldn't finish it. I havce buyers remourse :(
