Summary

À peine sorti de prison, Ombre apprend que sa femme et son meilleur ami viennent de mourir dans un accident de voiture et qu'ils étaient amants. Seul et désemparé, il accepte de travailler pour l'énigmatique Voyageur qui se prétend Roi de l'Amérique. Entraîné dans une aventure où ceux qu'il rencontre semblent en savoir plus sur ses origines que lui-même, Ombre va découvrir que son rôle dans les desseins de Voyageur est bien plus dangereux qu'il aurait pu l'imaginer.

Car, alors que menace un orage d'apocalypse, se prépare une guerre sans merci entre les anciens dieux saxons des premiers migrants, passés à la postérité sous les traits des super-héros de comics, et les nouveaux dieux barbares de la technologie et du consumérisme qui prospèrent aujourd'hui en Amérique...
