Summary

After the betrayal at Isstvan, Horus begins his campaign against the Emperor, a galaxy-wide war that can lead only to Terra. An unknown history is about to be unveiled as light is shed on the darkest years of the Horus Heresy, and revelations will surface that will shake the Imperium to its very foundation....

Better than others

Some stories are better than others but generally worth it given there are a few particularly good ones

A mixed bag.....

With any short story set you can't expect to enjoy them all. This collection is no exception. A couple of real gems sit amongst a few that feel a bit more of a slog to finish. On balance if you have enjoyed the Hersey so far then this is worth a listen for three of the stories alone.

Entertaining short stories

Some are quite good and entertaining while some are a bit more for lore/context. The last two are specially enjoyable.

mixed bag

John banks sucks as a narrator he rushed through the salamanders book and he fails to grasp the art form of narration. The other narrators eclipse him tenfold wich only adds to the fact he is unqualified for the task.
