Summary
An all-new, full-cast dramatization of the classic graphic novel.
The isolated town of Barrow, Alaska, is plunged into darkness for a month each year when the sun sinks below the horizon. As the last rays of light fade, the town is attacked by a bloodthirsty gang of vampires bent on an uninterrupted orgy of destruction. Only Barrow's husband-and-wife sheriff team stand between the survivors and certain destruction. By the time the sun rises, will they pay the ultimate price - or worse?
Complete list of narrators includes Chris Andrew Ciulla, Mark Boyett, Kevin T. Collins, Ellen Archer, Therese Plummer, Lauren Fortgang, Edoardo Ballerini, Scott Aiello, Fred Berman, Gabriel Vaughan, Dion Graham, Emily Bauer, Angelo Di Loreto, Jonathan Todd Ross, Julian Elfer, Allyson Johnson, Jennifer Van Dyck, and Robin Miles.

An Audible Sigh . . .
It's an ambitious idea to take something bright and visual like a popular graphic novel and transform it into pure audio form. Audible have certainly thrown plenty at it and the cast certainly haven't held back putting pretty much everything they have into it.
Having listened to it though I can't recommend it. To my ears it was a jerky stream of scenes over-burdened with too many background effects and even though it is only an hour long I sighed inwardly, relieved that I could move on.
I can imagine that it might be a more interesting experience if you have read and liked the graphic novel first but without that as an audio production it's short, uneven and unsatisfying.
Of course with Audible's goodreads guarantee you risk nothing more than some lost time and not much of that! So give it a go if like me you feel curious but I can only say that I'd rather have listened to an hour of one of the many good audiobooks I have in my library,

Great but short
A great production with some very good sound design but such a shame it was so short.

Not bad at all!
All the bad reviews baffled me. I took a chance on this as I’m a massive fan of the film (not so much the graphic novel) and I thought this was a great audio adaptation! Give it a go!

Good but far too short
The performances are great but they have tried to cram in a whole story into 1 hour, it sort of works but seems like there is a large middle section missing.
Not worth a credit

A decent audio adaptation of the comic book
this is a decent adaptation of 3O Days of Night with a great performance from the cast but this is hit and miss thanks to too many sound effects.

Poor scripting = spend credit elsewhere
My expectation for this story was quite low, being based on a graphic novel, but am happy to listen to a wide range of audio drama so wanted to give it a go.
Whilst the overall production is well put together and I can even live with the hammy acting, the BIG weakness is the scripting, there isn’t any depth to it. There’s no development of the characters so they remain one-dimensional and at 64 minutes it is too short to get any connection with them. It may not be the most innovative story, but given to a different script writer it could be a lot better.
1 credit for this, well I would advise to spend your credit on something else.
