Set in the 1970s at the height of the Irish troubles.
Jack Doolan and Coglan McGuire are best friends and real Jack the Lads. They start off at an early age petty-thieving before escalating their wrong doings by working in a small way for the IRA. This was all set to go wrong the day they robbed a club. Unknown to the pair, it was protected by the IRA.
This book has twists and turns peppered with happiness and sadness as the debt has to be paid. The book takes the listener from Ireland to London, Jersey to Derbyshire, and Staffordshire to the Scottish Highlands and the Island of Clutey. Share in the journey on how life can surprise us by our actions.
