enjoyed the story, great to meet some new characters and catch up with a couple of familiar "faces"
what really put me off was the narrator. I am aware that he is male and female voices are challenging but they all sounded like really bad drag acts, even the men. If the story hadn't been gripping I'd have given up.

Good story as usual from Karen Rose but ugh, that narrator! Parts of it were like he was reading from a page that he'd only just been handed. Pauses mid sentence that I presume he thought were dramatic but actually often lost the context of the meaning. I enjoyed the story but this narrator spoiled it for me. It was painfully bad acting so if you're a die hard Karen Rose fan, you'll put up with it but if you aren't avoid this until it's re-recorded!

I’ve listened to every single Karen Rose book, and lived every single one. I’ve gotten to chapter 4 of Say You’re Sorry and I’ve finally turned it off. I looked ahead to see the next book in the series also has this guy narrating. So that’s it, I won’t be listening to this series at all now. He is slow getting his words out and his voices for the characters are awful. Sorry Karen Rose.

This is one of two firsts it’s the first book in a series and the first book I have ever read by Karen Rose but definitely not the last as I straight away started looking for more by her. This book was an edge of your seat nail biting book and the story was great.

simply one of the best thrillers I've listened to in years!!! and I average at least 6 books a month (admittedly not all thrillers) but my authors include KARIN SLAUGHTER RACHEL ABBOTT ANGELA MARSTON to name but a few a definite MUST read!!!
